Splash Of Colour

Well...

• My project based on 'A splash of colour' has been handed in, i'm just needing to put it up on the wall and finish writing up my research.
• I finished my presentation and presented it (without fainting or anything.. i feel this is a big thing for me!)
• Got down to Cardiff and did my interview without any MAJOR problems apart form forgetting my sketchbook.... Hmm... 

Here is one of my two posters i have designed for my project. Not vair good but this was the first time i've ever used Photoshop, plus we only had a week to for the final piece, research, technical notebook and sketchbook!

My next project is to create an infographic on a topic of my choice. I will be putting that up as soon as it's all finished.

New Year, New Blog

SO! Here it is. A way of keeping to one of my new years resolutions, for education purposes and just because! My blog.

I'm Laura. I'm a student from a rather small town in Derbyshire, and here are a few things you may/may not want to know about me.
I go to college in Macclesfield, working on my Foundation Studies in Art and Design. Through this, and my part time job as a web designer i have worked out i really want to learn more about Graphic Design, and so i have applied to do a Degree in it hopefully starting this year, or next year.
I'm passionate about all things creative, i draw, paint, sew, chrochet, and i have just started to learn how to knit.
I love to play the ukulele - mine is called Victor.
I love all things Disney. 'Nuf said!

Here on my blog i wish to keep a record of things i'm up to in college, and what i'm working on at home as well.
