Personal Field Trip Project

My project - 'Personal Field Trip' has now come to an end. I decided on my location, Manchester and focused on the contrast between the day and the night. I produced:
- 6 photographs (3 day, 3 night),
- 2 photographs based on the concept of this website but obviously using my theme, so i held up a photo of the night in the day and took a photo (very awkward with a big DSLR and no-one to hold the photo for you!
- 2 lino prints, both of the Manchester Wheel, one red and one black,
- A magazine cover using Photoshop, layering photographs and adding text. I used one of the 'dearphotograph' photos for the back cover.

The artists i used for the project were
- Stephen Wiltshire for his subject matter of architecture (and because i just love him!)
- Stanley Donwood for his printing techniques.
- Tim Marrs very loosely, i am using him for my next project now.
- Oliver Kuglar for the illustrations he does are sometimes making the grimy places you don't want to look at aesthetically pleasing.
- Andrew Brooks for his amazing ability to make anywhere look beautiful, using Photoshop techniques to cut and paste thousands of pieces of images together.

I got marked on it yesterday, and got a pass/merit. Pretty chuffed.I will post my outcomes when they come off the wall.
